One-pack waterborne topcoat with excellent elasticity and durability, making it ideal for protecting exterior wooden items. Specifically formulated for ease of use, with excellent flow and clarity, and thixotropic which allows for both horizontal and vertical applications and is self-levelling. Remains elastic over time and does not degrade from UV exposure due to the presence of special UV absorbers and free radical scavengers. This prevents cracking and peeling from occurring. Contains a high amount of UV absorbers to protect the wood from the exterior environment. Should be used to overcoat a compatible water based stain (e.g. AM549/XX).
• Protective topcoat for exterior wooden furniture, highly resistant to UV rays, salt spray and other weather conditions.
• The coating does not peel or crack and is easy to apply by brush.
• It has a very good flexibility which will avoid cracking and peeling off.
• Since it has a high self levelling ability it can be applied without a brush mark.
• High Spreading rate (12 – 18 m2/kg)
Applications
• Suitable for Brush Application
• Sand Up to 180 sand paper and Apply 2 coats at 50g/m2
• Between coats: allow one hour drying and sand 320 grit sand paper
